Emyr O Jones - Director

EmyrEmyr was born in Pembrokeshire and brought up in Carmarthen, West Wales. The son of a Baptist Minister, Emyr enjoyed an early grounding in dealing and communicating with people through the medium of both Welsh & English.Emyr ran a busy Management Consultancy Practice based in Ammanford for 12 years and brings this valuable experience to the team. In 2002 Emyr along with Huw Priday set up the company known as 1904 Ltd. Since 2004 and the release of their award winning film "A Diary of Revival" Emyr has directed many events to reminding people of the social and spiritual impact of the 1904 Welsh Revival. In 2004 Emyr and Kevin Adams published a series of books titled "A Diary of Revival" And "Pictorial Diary of Revival" distributed in the UK by CWR and in the US by Broadman & Holman. in 2006 both books are being published in Korean along with the relase of the film in 2007. Emyr and Gaynor are now the proud parents of Ewan Rhys born 18th September 2006. 8lb bundle of Joy .

HuwHuw Priday is from Brecon, Mid Wales. He has appeared with all the major British Opera Companies and has also shown his versatility by singing the role of 'Piangi' in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty's Theatre in London's West End. His operatic career has also taken him to mainland Europe singing in Germany France Sweden Denmark and Spain. Huw has had an extensive oratorio and concert career, which has taken him all over the world, as far as Australia, America, Europe, the Middle East and the Far East. This year Huw's appearances will include The Royal Albert Hall, The Vienna Concert House,, St David's Hall Cardiff and numerous television and concert appearances in UK, Europe and America. Huw Priday and his wife, soprano Elizabeth Woollett, have sung to Royalty and Heads of State throughout the world.

KevinKevin was born in Llanelli in South Wales and is one of three brothers all of whom are in full time Christian ministry. Educated through the medium of Welsh and English, he remains a fluent Welsh speaker and writer. Having become a Christian at the age of 17 he went on to be theologically trained at Bangor University where he gained a B.D. in Theology and then went on to research the 1904 Revival and 20th Century evangelism in Wales. In 1986 he went to work for Ammanford Evangelical Church and has been there for 17years fulfilling the role of Preacher and Pastor. His interests include Church History, Books, Art and Keeping Fit. Strongly influenced by "Monty Python" in his teenage years he is always interested in "Something completely different". A popular preacher in churches and conferences both in Wales and other countries, he is now involved in the celebration of the 1904 revival. While researching for this project, this confirmed bachelor has found love married a Professor of Church History who happens to speak Welsh. Kevin lives in Boston USA and is Senior Pastor at East Baptist Church - Lynn

PaulPaul is the newest member of the Ministry team bringing his enthusiasm and marketing experience to the project. Having worked within sales and marketing for most of his working life, he is responsible for the daily running of the UK & International operation and also helps to coordinate responses to the worldwide interest shown in Huws Priday and 1904 Ltd. Brought up in the small village of Ystradgynlais, he is Welsh speaking and proud of his heritage. A keen musician and singer, Paul has made many TV appearances, but counts his involvement with 1904 Ltd and Priday Productiosn Ltd as his most fulfiling role yet. Paul is married to Caroline and has three children, Owen, Anna and little Samuel.

 

TonyIt was Tony's role to co-ordinate all the elements of the production of"A Diary of Revival". Although this was his first Christian production, it brought together his many years of experience in the fields of video production, sport and behaviour management.
He has worked on a wide variety of productions, including those for UK & European Crime Concern Awards, Community Care projects, a Titanic documentary, and the production of many corporate and promotional videos. Working on these projects enabled him to form an excellent working partnership with Trevor Burgess (Director of "A Diary of Revival") who also has extensive experience in the broadcast industry.
Tony spent ten years working as notational analyst and sports Psychologist at Llanelli Rugby Football Club. During that time the team was successful in winning a number of major championships.

Tony believes that this varied career experience has provided him with excellent preparation for his work with 1904 Ltd. He considers " A Diary of Revival " to be his most rewarding project to date

TrevorAfter leaving HTV Tv in 1990, Trev has worked as Producer / Director and versatile Director of Photography. During this time he has shot every type of programme for all of the Broadcast companies, from "999" to "The Cook Report" and much high-end corporate and commercial work.

In addition to creating programming for Film42, he has also found time to direct other productions including a feature length drama "Illegal Access" for the Tear Fund, "Painting Wild Wales" for HTV "The New Hillman Avengers" a comedy for Magnetic pictures and a multi camera music concert featuring the Sid Lawrence Orchestra in Brighton.

Joining up with Tony Waters four years ago, Film42 was created, and it has been producing a wide range of programming ever since.

SteveSteve was born in Wales and read medicine at Bristol University. He has practiced as a physician in Wales, England, Canada and the USA for 33 years. During this time he was also the 'physician in residence' at Gordon College. He has been a resident in Boston Massachusetts for the last 28 years and is married to Stella. They have three children. Following his experiences during medical missionary work with refugees in the Congo and Kosovo, Steve was made aware of the spiritual needs of his people back home in Wales. Since that time he has viewed his medical career and life to date as an apprenticeship, one that has been preparing him for a new role, that of helping to refocus the eyes of the world on Wales remembering the social and spiritual impact that resulted from the 1904 revival.
